Algebra University College is a partner in the "STEM Academy" project, aimed at popularizing STEM among children and young people, which was launched in 2021 by the Croatian Office for Creativity and Innovation (HUKI). Other partners in the project are the Institute for the Development of Education and the University of Zagreb Faculty of Mining, Geology, and Petroleum of the University of Zagreb.
As part of the same project, at the beginning of November 2022, the head of design studies, Assoc. Ph.D. Siniša Bogdanović, and the Erasmus+ and exchange coordinator, Zrinka Borić, visited NOVA Lisbon University - NOVA School of Science and Technology. The study visit aimed to get acquainted with innovative learning methods and activities that NOVA Lisbon University uses to popularize STEM among young people, support capacity building of civil society organizations, and collaborate with academic partners on the project.
As part of the same study trip, a meeting was arranged with the partner institution Universidade Europeia, IADE - Faculty of Design, Technology, and Communication. The study visit aimed to strengthen bilateral cooperation, encourage inter-institutional Erasmus mobility, and agree on future participation in international projects in the design field.
