The third edition of the educational program “Seeds for the Future”, which has involved the participation of eight bachelor and master students from the best Croatian colleges, including Algebra University College student Josip Stanešić, has been successfully completed. During the eight-day program, students learned from top experts about Huawei’s business model and strategies, as well as about advanced technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
“We are very pleased that the Seeds for the Future program has continued this year as well. Sharing knowledge and opening opportunities for learning about new technologies is extremely important for Huawei, and we are confident that the knowledge the students have acquired will be of great benefit to them in practice,” said Kevin Zhang Qiming, CEO of Huawei Technologies Croatia.
The program is a continuation of the successful cooperation between Huawei and Croatia, implemented on the basis of two Understanding and Cooperation Memoranda concluded in 2019 with the Central State Office for the Development of the Digital Society.
“One of the top priorities of the Government of the Republic of Croatia is investing in youth, digitalization and strengthening international cooperation. We have been convinced of the crucial importance of new technologies and the possibility of rapid adaptation in the last two challenging pandemic years, therefore, we are confident that this generation of students will enthusiastically continue adopting new knowledge that will truly transform Croatian society,” said Bernard Gršić, State Secretary at the Central State Office for Digital Society Development.
