Buddy wanted!

Studying abroad can be quite challenging, don’t you think?

Why not help new international students in finding their way around?

If you study at Algebra University College and if you would like to hang out with the newcomers, you are in the right place!

Algebra Buddy Program is a project that aims to assign incoming international students a Student Buddy – a local student willing to help them settle into their new home for a semester. Buddies can help international students explore Zagreb, reveal tips and tricks about studying at Algebra, and above all, have fun while hanging together!

This is a unique opportunity for Algebra’s students to explore different cultures, learn foreign languages and meet international friends while studying in Croatia. Who knows – this might even inspire them to start planning their own study abroad experience!

Planned activities:

  • Zagreb Sightseeing Tour (3/10)
  • organized one day field trips
    • Plitvice Lakes National Park
    • Zadar
    • Opatija
    • the island of Krk
  • fun activities in Zagreb (escape room, museum hopping, Sljeme hikes and other activities proposed by students)
