Dragutin Vuković was born in 1954 in Nova Gradiška, where he finished primary school and also got educated as electronics technician at Middle technical school for electronics. He then went to Zagreb to study electrical engineering, and in 1979 received a degree of Graduated Electrical Engineer with specialisation in electronics – computer technics, from the Faculty of Electrotechnics at Zagreb University. After graduation, he entered his first job at the same Faculty’s Electronics Institute as Assistant Professor and started a post-graduate study in computer science, which he finished in 1986 and received a Master of Sciences title in computer science. He also became a registered scientist at Croatian Ministry of Science and Education. Since 1990 he worked at Microlab Ltd. first as Chief Executive Officer and then as Chief Technology Officer. He retained a connection with academic community and continued his scientific research, participating in various scientific projects. In 1997 he founded his own company, Inkus Ltd. through which he offered consulting services in computer networking and communications projects. Since 2004 these services were enhanced with consulting in the area of business process improvement, as well as management systems for quality, environment, information security, and IT services. During the Inkus period, he cooperated on a number of projects for government institutions, public and private companies. He authored a number of scientific and professional papers, presented on scientific and professional conferences. He also published a number of professional texts in popular and professional technology magazines. In 2017 he terminated Inkus Ltd. and since then he is employed at KING ICT Ltd. as Management Board Advisor for Management Systems.
