Erasmus+ is the program of the European Union for education, training, youth and sports for the period 2014-2020. Erasmus+ provides opportunities for Europeans to study, train, and gain experience abroad thus enabling the mobility of students, teachers, researches and other non-academic staff.
Students can take part in various exchange programs, such as study visits or internships European (and many non-European) host institutions.
Key Actions (also referred to as Actions) is the collective name for activities and projects that can be funded under Erasmus+. There are three Key Action areas which can be summarised as:
- Mobility (Key Action 1)
- Cooperation for Innovation and Exchange of Good Practices (Key Action 2)
- Support for Policy Reform (Key Action 3)
