Student Council
Founded in 2010 with a few important tasks in mind. The council organizes and attends various sports events. It organizes LAN parties and thematic gatherings. It is involved in organization of field trips, recreational outings and all the fun campus activities.
One of its most important goals is the revival of student life outside of the formal framework of lectures and exercises. Members of the Student Council are happy to assist all interested students as student assistants for various courses, with the help of assistant professors. Intense two-way communication achieved through workshops and generational proximity between younger assistant professors and students allows for a friendly relationship which further enhances the quality of learning and exchange of knowledge and experience.
The Student Council participates in sports competitions, organizes LAN parties and various thematic meetings at its premises located near the University College and participates in the organization of travels, recreational trips, etc.
ESU European Student Union
Students of the University College are members of the students’ association Council of Polytechnics and Colleges. This way, the president of the Council of Polytechnics and Colleges represents the students of our University College in the Croatian Student Council (CSC) which is a member of the European Students’ Union (ESU). ESU is the umbrella organization of 45 National Unions of Students (NUS) from 38 countries (March 2012). Each National Union of Students is open to all students in their respective country regardless of political persuasion, religion, ethnic or cultural origin, sexual orientation or social standing. We consider our membership in ESU important because the aim of ESU is to represent and promote educational, social, economic and cultural interests of students at the European level towards all relevant bodies, in particular European Union, Bologna Follow Up Group, Council of Europe and UNESCO. Through its members ESU represents over 11 million students in Europe.
