Ivan Vidaković began his professional career in 1984 as IBM system engineer at Intertrade Ltd. and in 1985 moved to the position of sales and marketing representative.
In 1991, he transferred to the position of IBM sales representative at Gulf Business Machines Oman (GBM) LLC. In addition to marketing, sales and business development, Vidaković actively worked on the development of cooperation with key business partners and decision-makers in oil and banking industry as well as government and state institutions. In 2001, he returned to Croatia as the General Manager of IBM Croatia.
In 2009, he became IBM’s business controls project leader for Central and Eastern Europe (IBM CEE) and was responsible for the development and implementation of optimization plans for Croatia, Bulgaria, Slovenia, Slovakia, Serbia, Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia. In the beginning of 2010, he took over the position of Country Manager at Microsoft Croatia.
Vidaković graduated in Mathematics and Informatics from the Faculty of Science in Zagreb, and during his career at IBM, he completed additional professional courses and training in the field of information technology, computer science and management.
