Marin Tadić graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing, University of Zagreb, Department of Telecommunications and Information Technology, and was the first student whose graduate thesis was related to the TCP/IP protocol. After graduating, he worked for nearly two years in Ericsson at the department of Axe digital exchange systems and received a four months scholarship from the Austrian government for participation in research and development of TCP/IP protocols in Novel network environment at the Technical Faculty in Vienna.
In Vienna, he started working for Reuters where he was offered to establish offices in Zagreb, Ljubljana and Sarajevo. Tadić accepted the offer and initiated businesses in these countries. During five years of employment at Reuters (1993-1998), and especially during the last two, he was focused on business segments and together with his associates, he successfully implemented Reuters services in the Croatian banking sector. He spent the following four years (1998- 2002) working as the Head of Zagreb Hewlett Packard office where he progressively developed all demanding segments of the company.
In March 2002, he took over the leadership of the Oracle office in Croatia and built a successful team of Croatian experts ready to respond to various demands of Oracle users. Since 2016, he holds the position of Oracle Regional Manager for Adriatic region. He continued to invest in his own development and education at the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées (ENPC) of International Management in Paris and at the University of Edinburgh Management School in Scotland completing his Executive MBA in 2005.
