Assistant Professor Tihana Babić

Tihana has a Professor's degree in Philosophy and Croatology from 2009, and in 2012 she also passed a State Professional Exam for Ethics Teachers. Since 2013, she has been working at the Algebra University College, first as Head of the Student Service, then as University Secretary, and from 2021 as a Teacher and Scientist in full-time employment. Since 2018, she is a member of the Algebra University College Academic Council and the Algebra University College Board of Trustees. Since 2019, based on the opinion of the Expert Committee and the Main Committee for Humanities of the Council of Polytechnics and Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Croatia, she is chosen for the teaching title of Lecturer in the field of Humanities, the field of Philosophy. Since 2020, based on the opinion of the Expert Committee and the Main Committee for Social Sciences of the Council of Polytechnics and Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Croatia, she is chosen for the teaching title of Senior Lecturer in the field of Social Sciences, the field of Interdisciplinary Social Science. She is also an Author and a Co-author of Scientific and Professional Papers and a Student's Manual in the field of Information and Communication Sciences and Ethics. She participated in Public Presentations at Numerous Croatian and International Scientific Conferences. In 2021, she received her Ph.D. at the Postgraduate Doctoral Study Program in Information and Communication Sciences at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, the University of Zagreb on the topic of Changing the communication paradigm in higher education under the influence of social media with a grade of magna cum laude.
