Course objectives

The primary objective of this course is to impart a functional ability for applying creative analytical techniques in buisness surroundings aimed at raising the level of creativity and innovation in marketing. Apart from generating a pool of innovative ideas, creative analytical techniques will help you solve business problems in a new and constructive way The course is further designed to aid students in understanding the essential principles involved in the practice of reasoned decision making Knowledge acquired at this course will help you develop critical thinking skills and reduce the impact of irrational and subjective reasoning, biases, fallacies, and heuristics in making inferences and decisions The skills you develop will serve you across all academic disciplines, in the workplace, and everyday life.

Instinctive mental traits, Creativity – the importance of intuition and emotions, Creative blocks, Creative analytical techniques/strategies, Logical reasoning, Fallacies, Critical thinking Paul-Elder method.
