Igor Mijić, M. Eng. Was born on June 25, 1989 in Split, Croatia. He completed the Electrical Engineering and Information Technology graduate programme in 2014. Since 2016 he has been attending the Computing Doctoral programme and working at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing as a teaching/research assistant. As a member of the Laboratory for Interactive Simulation Systems he has worked on several research projects, most prominent of which is the NATO research project “Multidisciplinary Metrics for Soldier Resilience Prediction and Training”. His professional and research interests include paralinguistic analysis/processing of speech/voice, and its applications as a modality in affective computing. He co-authored one research paper in a CC journal along with two research papers at international conferences.
