Aleksandar Hatzivelkos, Senior Lecturer

Aleksandar Hatzivelkos, PhD, was born in Zagreb. He earned a master’s degree in mathematics at the Faculty of Science and a doctorate at the Faculty of Organization and Informatics, University of Zagreb, in the interdisciplinary field of social choice theory. He began his teaching career at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture, and then at the Polytechnics Velika Gorica and the Algebra University. His scientific work and interests are oriented towards the theory of social choice, i.e. formal mathematical theories that describe election processes. He is the author of several scientific and professional papers and a regular participant in scientific and professional meetings.
