Sadržaj i cilj
The objective of this module is to enable students to learn the:
• user interface and the environment of the current industry standard digital painting program
• knowledge and skills needed to produce finalized and presentable artwork
Practice the application of already acquired drawing and painting knowledge, knowledge of composition, space, light, and colour, drawing a figure and other motifs, solving various art problems in the digital medium. This module teaches specific methodologies for speed painting, matte painting, photo bashing, etc., and how to incorporate them into one’s workflow. This module is optional to further enhance students to acquire digital painting skills. This module relates to the program as a optional core for understanding 3D modelling in creative industries.
The module gives a strong foundation in compositing renders of 3D assets, creating digital illustrations, and producing finished digital artwork. The module offers critical knowledge and skills needed to produce finalized, presentable artwork (for instance as a part of a portfolio). This module contributes to the overall development of the student's artistic skills and knowledge and is an essential component for the contemporary artist due to the prevalent need for art to be in the digital medium. The knowledge and skills presented in this module are a part of the core skill set, a professional need’s in today’s computer graphics industry.

Minimalni ishodi učenja
- Odabrati pristupe, alate i metode i stilove digitalnog crtanja i slikanja te objasniti njihovu upotrebu
- Razraditi principe i alate brzog slikanja i stvoriti svoja umjetnička rješenja za različite probleme i motive pomoću brzog slikanja
- Stvoriti vlastita rješenja digitalnih ilustracija, od receptivnih i perceptivnih motiva, koristeći odgovarajući stil i metodološki pristup radu s obzirom na zadatak
- Izraditi vlastita idejna rješenja, od skice do konačnog uvjerljivog slikarskog / ilustrativnog rješenja pojedinačno prikladnih motiva, koristeći neovisno odabrane reference, stil, pristup, alate i metodologiju digitalnog slikarstva
Željeni ishodi učenja
- Analizirati, prosuditi i procijeniti upotrebu slikarskih alata i metoda na određenim primjerima
- Analizirati, prosuditi i evaluirati vlastita umjetnička rješenja različitih motiva nastalih metodom brzog slikanja (uzimajući u obzir vrijeme slikanja, 30 minuta, 1 sat, 2 sata itd.)
- Analizirati i procijeniti metodologiju izrade i uspjeh određenog umjetničkog rješenja na primjeru vlastitog rada (ili drugih djela)
- Kritički prosuditi, procijeniti, argumentirati i usporediti različita (vlastita i druga) umjetnička rješenja, od ideje, skice, stila i pristupa, metoda i alata korištenih za stvaranje, do konačnog rješenja
