Sadržaj i cilj

The objectives of this module are to equip students with knowledge and skills to structure a troubleshooting process in complex IT systems with the aim to detect and eliminate the cause of specific problems.

Students learn:
• Determine a baseline of a functional IT system
• Detect a problem in a complex IT system
• Properly define and differentiate symptoms and causes of problems in a complex IT system
• To eliminate the cause of a problem in a complex IT system
• To propose and implement a modification that improves the resiliency of a complex IT system

This module is important for students because it teaches students how to think critically in the context of complex IT systems. The module requires students implement a structured thought process, and use in-depth knowledge of the technologies to efficiently detect and eliminate causes of problems in complex IT systems. These skills are crucial for System engineers.

  • Ukloniti uzrok problema ili primijeniti zaobilazno rješenje.
  • Predložiti izmjenu IT sustava kako bi se spriječilo ponavljanje istog ili sličnog problema.
  • Provesti potrebne izmjene na IT sustavu kako bi se spriječila pojava istih ili sličnih problema u budućnosti.

Željeni ishodi učenja

  • Usporediti osnovnu vrijednost s ukupnim kapacitetima IT sustava.
  • Prepoznati abnormalan rad IT sustava u odnosu na osnovnu vrijednost.
  • Definirati kako će problem utjecati na redovan rad IT sustava.
  • Planirati i provesti postupak uklanjanja uzroka problema.
  • Obrazložiti zašto je primijenjena izmjena na informacijskom sustavu kako bi se spriječili budući slični problemi.
  • Planirati provedbu potrebne izmjene na IT sustavu kako bi se spriječila pojava istih ili sličnih problema u budućnosti.
