The CS4ALL project (Cybersecurity for All) brings together partners from Europe and Asia with a shared ambition: to enhance cybersecurity education and ensure that it is both accessible and relevant to today’s digital world. The initiative focuses on developing modern curricula, providing training for teachers, and creating digital resources to support both higher education and lifelong learning. By combining academic expertise with practical perspectives, the consortium is helping to prepare the next generation of cybersecurity professionals.
From 15 to 19 September 2025, partners met in Nicosia, Cyprus, for an intensive week of technical training. Hosted by the University of Nicosia, the programme combined expert talks, practical workshops, study visits and structured discussions.
During the week, participants explored a broad range of subjects, including ethical hacking, penetration testing, smart city resilience, continuity planning, e-learning platforms and the new Digital Operational Resilience Act. Practical sessions focused on creating engaging learning materials such as videos, interactive quizzes and lab exercises, while workshops provided opportunities to apply these methods in a teaching context. A visit to Smart City Nicosia offered valuable insight into how digital technologies are shaping modern urban life and building resilience for the future.
The event also created space for reflection and exchange. Partners compared approaches from their institutions, discussed how to adapt teaching across cultural contexts, and identified ways of turning diversity into a strength for the project. Informal networking contributed to building trust and long-term cooperation.
This training was not only an opportunity to broaden knowledge, but also a chance to strengthen the shared vision of the consortium. Participants left Nicosia with concrete tools, renewed confidence and closer professional ties. The week demonstrated the importance of international collaboration in tackling the challenges of cybersecurity education and showed how joint effort can inspire innovation.
The CS4ALL partnership now looks ahead to the next stages of the project with fresh ideas and the determination to continue developing courses, supporting educators and equipping students with the digital skills required for the future.
