This year, Algebra University College hosted the first hackathon as part of The International Creative Design Challenge (icdchallenge.com). Over five days, four five-member student teams – two from the Hansa University’s School of Communication, Media & IT, and two from Algebra’s Visual Communications Design undergraduate program – competed in coming up with a creative solution for the brand key store for this year’s hackathon client, adidas. All teams were supported by mentors, while the jury, after considering all the proposed solutions, chose the winning creative solution proposed by one of the Dutch student teams, “The Great 5”.
