This year’s Algebra Hacking Night, held on Friday, April 21, co-organized together with the company Eviden – an Atos business, saw the participation of a record 19 teams comprised of top-notch cyber security experts.
Traditionally held at Algebra since 2012, the main idea of the Hacking Night competition is to build a community of ethical hackers and create an environment for exchanging and improving unique CyberSec knowledge.
One of the key goals of Hacking Night is to raise awareness of the importance of computer security, while the challenges in the competition consisted of simulating real-life situations with realistic security flaws. The participants in this year’s competition – close to 60 of them – demonstrated the expert knowledge and unique skills needed to ensure cyber security.
Designing, implementing and improving systems of information and communication technologies is no easy task, while the demand for such skills is evidenced by huge market needs for experts in the field of cyber security.
The teams were very enthusiastic in applying for the competition and responding to the challenges set before them, once again demonstrating how current and relevant this topic is. This year’s Hacking Night top teams are:
1st place: 炖鸭
2nd place: OC2202
3rd place: init1
We wish to congratulate all the competitors on their participation and look forward to the next edition of Hacking Night @ Algebra!
