We have successfully concluded a two-day workshop for our students, Canon Workshop @Algebra, organized in cooperation with Canon Hrvatska.
Lectures, presentations, photography, and video workshops included working with the most modern Canon equipment under the leadership of award-winning, world-renowned photographer and Canon ambassador Sanjay Jogia.
Through inspiring two days of lectures and workshops, students could learn from one of the best photographers today, also named one of the six best wedding photographers according to Professional Photographer magazine. Sanjay Jogia is the winner of more than 200 valuable awards in the film and video industry.
He shared his immense knowledge gained in his impressive career with the gathered audience and described his job as a gift, emphasizing the freedom and creativity it provides, but also as a great responsibility due to the resourcefulness it requires. Sanjay emphasized the power of photography primarily through the emotion it conveys.
Students were working on their creations at the workshops, and the best teams won vouchers worth EUR 1,000 to purchase the equipment at Canon.
Dino Belužić from the 3rd year of Multimedia studies and Filip Gržan from the 2nd year of Multimedia studies won the award for the best video.
Lovro Badelj and Petar Karoglan, from the 2nd year of Multimedia studies, won the award for the best-integrated photo into video. Congratulations to the winning teams!
Lecturer Robert Krivec and assistant lecturer Antonio Britvar opened the workshop, together with Goran Sretenoski, General B2C Director for Canon Adria. Harald Sahling, the Business Developer from Canon CEE, head of the Canon Ambassador program and the Canon Professional Services (CPS) project, also participated in the workshops.
