A new generation of Algebra LAB startup incubator program just took off! A great event for all of our teams, future entrepreneurs who have an interesting business idea, but were not sure how to start their own business. Or, need more specific business knowledge and skills.
The selection process for incubator was not simple. We got a large amount of applications, but selected 12 teams that will be part of the most exciting incubator program for new entrepreneurs.
We are extremely glad that yet another generation of new entrepreneurs is entering the four-month incubation period. At the small kick off meeting on 19th Nov., teams had an opportunity to meet their lead mentors with whom they will regularly discuss their project and ideas. Lead mentors will be well-known startup gurus; Ivo Špigel, Leo Mršić, Maja Brkljačić, Marijana Šarolić Robić and Petra Stojanov.
Startup incubator is made of workshops, lectures and consultations, during which teams will develop their business strategies, service or product prototype. They will also acquire the necessary professional and technical knowledge, have the opportunity to network, and present to the media. This edition for the incubator will be held online, due to epidemiology situation.
The main goal of the program is to enable teams to enter the market with a complete and shaped business idea. Therefore, Algebra LAB will be organizing a series of events that will enable teams to present themselves to the broader public, to the potential customers, competitors, media and investors. In this way, productive partnerships will be formed and everything will be leading to the final moment – a demo-day when the teams will present the developed business idea to the audience of mentors, potential investors and the business community.
