ALGEBRA (TIIT) – Transformation and internationalization of Algebra IT study program European Social Fund, Operational Program Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020 UP.03.1.1.02.0021. / 2018 – 2021
Through the development of a double degree program with Paris Graduate School of Digital Innovation (EPITECH), and the development and implementation of three study programs conducted in English in the field of software engineering, this project aims at contributing to the internationalization of Algebra University College, as well as at advancing international cooperation in the higher education in Croatia. The project timeframe is from October 2018 to October 2021.

Algebra University College has received a grant for the implementation of the project “ALGEBRA (TIIT) – Transformation and Internationalization of Algebra IT Study program” under the “Internationalisation of Higher Education” tender from the operational program  Efficient Human Resources 2014-2020 (OPEHR). The project is funded by the European Union from the European social fund and the grant awarded is HRK 1,776,882.94. As the project holder, Algebra University College implements the project together with its partner – BHV d.o.o. from Zagreb. The signing of the contract on 12 October 2018 marked the start of the project.

Overall objective: Contribution to improving the quality and relevance of higher education through internationalization.

Specific objective: Development and accreditation of a double degree program in English with Paris Graduate School of Digital Innovation (EPITECH), and the development and implementation of three study programs conducted in English to improve the quality and relevance of education and strengthen the competences of students and staff of Algebra University College.

Project Summary: The project aims at contributing to the cross-border cooperation in higher education in the Republic of Croatia through the development of a double degree program with EPITECH and the development and implementation of programs in English in the field of software engineering, while achieving the stated goals of the University College regarding internationalization. The project will provide all the preconditions for the further development of mobility for students and teaching staff. In partnership with BHV, effective promotional and information activities will ensure sustainability and multiplication of project results.

Main project activities: Development and accreditation of a software engineering double degree program in English with EPITECH, and the development and implementation of three study programs conducted in English to improve the quality and relevance of education and strengthen the competences of students and staff of Algebra University College.

The total duration of the project is 36 months and the project is fully funded by the European social fund.
